Who we are

Sea Explorers Philippines is one of the most experienced dive operators in the heart of the Philippines. With 6 dive branches all over the Visayas, namely Alona Beach, Cabilao, Dauin, Malapascua, Moalboal and Siquijor, Sea Explorers offers great diving opportunities through a unique island hopping adventure. In addition, competent and multilingual customer assistance is provided through our Head Office in Cebu City.

The readers of the German magazine “Tauchen” awarded Sea Explorers Philippines as the ”Best Dive Centre in Southeast Asia/Pacific” for two consecutive years. In 2004, Sea Explorers Dauin, located in Pura Vida Beach and Dive Resort, was upgraded to a Career Development Center (CDC), the highest ranking of a PADI Dive Center.

What you can expect

Filipinos are known to be very friendly, kind and happy people, which is why our Dive Teams work and dive with a smile at all times. Besides great diving, you have a chance to take a closer look at the Philippine culture and scenery by taking short excursions ranging from interesting local markets, to refreshing waterfalls, amazing river tours and breathtaking landscapes. In the local restaurants you can taste delicious Filipino specialities and enjoy fresh tropical fruit juices.

Island Hopping

Sea Explorers offers you a unique island hopping experience where you can easily “jump” from one Sea Explorers Branch to another. Whenever possible we do these so called transfers by our Bankaboats where you can even do some dives on the way (min. of 2 divers, depending on weather conditions and destinations). We will arrange all the transfers for you, so you can have a hassle-free holiday.

The Diving

Sea Explorers puts a high priority on divers’ safety and customer satisfaction at the same
time. Dive groups are limited to a maximum of 4 divers per dive guide which ensures safety and fun for everybody. Our well trained and experienced local dive guides are proud to share the great wonders of the sea with you.

Diving all over the Visayas means that you can expect a large variety of underwater features. Besides colourful coral gardens and big schools of fish, we can take you to amazing special dive sites where you can choose from muck-, pier-, drift-, wall-, shark-, cave-, and wreck-diving. Our dive boats, also known as “Bankaboats”, offer convenient boat rides to bring you to your dive destinations. Once again, as safety is our priority, our boats are equipped with first aid kits, portable oxygen units, emergency mobile phones and life vests. There is even a full set of spare dive equipment on board just in case.

If you are a group of 8 people or more, we can even offer you our well known Dive Safaris where you will be provided with one of our big Bankaboats for the entire safari. Instead of staying overnight on the boat, you are going to spend the night at the local resorts where you can have a good time and enjoy the beach life with your group.

Regular Dive Safaris usually last for about 2 weeks starting from Moalboal, going to Dauin, Siquijor, Alona Beach, and finally Cabilao or vice versa.
